Additive4Rail: a new alliance to produce “à la carte” train maintenance parts

Additive4Rail aims to contribute to accelerating the use of this new technology in rail sector not only in France but also in Europe.

“The work of the consortium may find outlets outside France, given the European harmonization of railway safety standards. Additive4Rail should contribute to the creation of a real national additive manufacturing sector. The European prospects are important, as evidenced by the interest expressed by industrialists (energy, naval, defence, space, etc.) during “Formnext”, the European additive manufacturing fair held in Frankfurt in November 2021”
